Mike Smith-Guitar/Vocals

Mike Smith is a Pluckin Grasshole!

Kevin Best-Banjo/Vocals

Banjo Player Kevin Best is an good samaritan who has found work in South Chalfont. Like 13 million of his countrymen, Kevin hopes the political and economic situation in his homeland will improve. He offered up a song about a greedy man who refuses to give up power to his fellow Chalfontonians in their shared time of need. He can often be found singing some of his prized songs about lighthouses and the inner workings of pocket watches.

Bobby Cerruti-Dobro

He's a space orphan from longstore SIX, left to rot on cyborg 9.
He was trying to find his way to planet X but stepped on a land mine.
He only lost his 3rd leg, but he never begged or put anybody down,
and behind the great wall of China, underneath the galaxies, he had a studio
and he formed this band

Chris Hanratty-Mandolin

Chris is actually a private crime-fighting arm of Knight Industries, an organization founded by Wilton Knight, a billionaire philanthropist. Chris was not Wilton Knight's first choice for the pilot program, but Wilton changed his mind and reopened the foundation due to Chris's arrival. Wilton Knight is dying of an undisclosed illness. Wilton picked up Chris passed out in front of his car, on a desert highway, Chris barely survived, thanks to the metal plate.

Given a new face via facial reconstructive surgery, Chris was resurrected as, well... Chris. Together with a high-tech automobile called the Rumbling Ass Two Thousand (RATT), Chris agreed to carry on Wilton Knight's crusade of aiding the powerless. He is usually given mission objectives by the new director of FLAG, Wilton's longtime friend and confidant, Devon.

Chris was selected for his high level of self-defense training, intelligence, law enforcement experience, and his ability and preference to work alone without assistance or back-up. His gig with the Pluckin' Grassholes is just a cover to help him get closer to criminals.

Colin Devine-Bass

The only Grasshole (but not asshole) born south of the Mason Dixon Line, Colin's got nothing but grass in his soul. And if that wasn’t enough, his deep roots in music were partially inherited from his father, who is arguably one of the best rhythm guitarist on the east coast, and has made a living playing contra/folk music since the early 70’s.

Originally starting with rock bass and alternative guitar in the early 90's, Colin realized that playing music would forever be a part of his life. It wasn't until 2003, that Colin had found his true love in music, through playing Old Time, Traditional, and Bluegrass guitar, which ultimately lead to him pickin' up the old upright in Jan of 2008. In April of the same year, after a grueling month of endurance testing, assembling a series of very tough puzzels, and a week in a swamp in upper Buck County, Colin was allowed to join the Pluckin' Grassholes and to be part of the only Pennsylvania Bluegrass band in America to be certified to play music in space.
